1 Samuel 23:14

SV	David nu bleef in de woestijn in de vestingen, en hij bleef op den berg in de woestijn Zif; en Saul zocht hem alle dagen, doch God gaf hem niet over in zijn hand.
WLC	וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב דָּוִ֤ד בַּמִּדְבָּר֙ בַּמְּצָדֹ֔ות וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב בָּהָ֖ר בְּמִדְבַּר־זִ֑יף וַיְבַקְשֵׁ֤הוּ שָׁאוּל֙ כָּל־הַיָּמִ֔ים וְלֹֽא־נְתָנֹ֥ו אֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּיָדֹֽו׃
Trans.	wayyēšeḇ dāwiḏ bammiḏəbār bamməṣāḏwōṯ wayyēšeḇ bâār bəmiḏəbar-zîf wayəḇaqəšēhû šā’ûl kāl-hayyāmîm wəlō’-nəṯānwō ’ĕlōhîm bəyāḏwō:

AC	יד וישב דוד במדבר במצדות וישב בהר במדבר זיף ויבקשהו שאול כל הימים ולא נתנו אלהים בידו
ASV	And David abode in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill-country in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
BE	And David kept in the waste land, in safe places, waiting in the hill-country in the waste land of Ziph. And Saul was searching for him every day, but God did not give him up into his hands.
Darby	And David abode in the wilderness in strongholds, and abode in the mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God did not give him into his hand.

Sch	David aber blieb in der Wüste auf den Höhen und hielt sich auf dem Gebirge auf, in der Wüste Siph. Und Saul suchte ihn sein Leben lang. Aber Gott gab ihn nicht in seine Hand.
